About Me

Being a psychotherapist is my second career, although I have been doing it for 20 years. My first career was working in a corporate environment in New York City. These different types of work give me a wealth of insight into the stressors of corporate life. Additionally, I am very aware of being a human- I’m part of an imperfect family, I have been a child, a teenager (eyeroll), a stepmom and just generally a person trying to figure things out. All these experiences give me a heightened sense of empathy.

My Approach
Your journey is unique, and so is my approach. I use Relational-Cultural Theory as my main framework and include evidence-based techniques. I am trauma-informed and EMDR trained. I will tailor my process to fit you, your needs, and your goals. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, tough relationships, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, feeling too much or too little (maybe both?) I’m here to support you.
My priority is to provide you with a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I understand that taking the first step can be daunting, and I’m here to walk beside you with compassion and understanding. I am committed to be your partner, truly listening to your story, and together, working toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of hope.
